Yayoi Hime is a strawberry born in Gunma prefecture that was registered as a variety in 2005 (Heisei 17). It was born by cultivating a cross between [Tone Hoppe x Tochiotome] x Tone Hoppe.
Yayoi Hime has an average fruit weight of 20g and is characterized by large grains and an elegant light red color. The flesh is firm and has a light red color to the inside. It is a sweet strawberry with an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity and a long shelf life.
