Aikou aka King of Autumn, is a hybrid of Fuyu persimmon and Taishu persimmon, and after 10 years of research, it was finally registered in 2012.
It is a new huge variety which is completely seedless, and perfect crunchiness with sugar content of at least 17 brix degree! They are air-dried to give a more concentrated sugar content and a chewy texture, which makes a perfect snack!
