一宮水密 (Ichinomiya Suimitsu) is a peach from Ichinomiya Town, a famous peach producing area that boasts an overwhelming brand power in the Kansai region of Yamanashi Prefecture.
It was discovered by Mr. Furuya, a producer in Ichinomiya Town, as a sport of Asama Hakuto, and was registered as a variety in 1990. It is a delicious peach that inherits the mellow aroma of Asama white peach, juicy and dense flesh, and high sugar content. “Ichinomiya Premium” carefully selects peaches using optical sensor when the sugar content peaks during the season. Only peaches with sugar content of 13 degrees can be shipped under this brand.
