Obara Beniwase Kintoki is easily distinguished by its bright red orange skin and deep orange flesh compared to other mandarin orange varieties. They are grown in the sunny and well-drained region of Kagawa which boosts the sweetness of the mikan with a minimal average of 10-12 degree and above. Kintoki mikan have a standard of 11 degree (above average) with pulpy and juicy flesh, and its coming up to be one of the best house varieties in the market.Â
