Description
Chiyohime is an early-harvest yellow variety which has a unique red-yellow appearance. It has a moderate sweetness and low acidity which makes it sweet considering tha it is harvested in the early part of peach season. When ripen, it softens to create a melting texture with a hint of mango fragrance and well-balanced sweetness.
To enjoy to its fullest, allow it to ripen at room temperature for 2-3 days for smooth and soft flesh that melts in one’s mouth, with increased water content (juice) and sweetness level.Â
