The name comes from the meaning of a wonderful strawberry whose size, beauty, and deliciousness reach the sky, and it is said to be named after one of Tochigi’s 100 famous mountains, Mt. Sukai.Â
A major feature of Skyberry is its beautiful appearance and large size of 25g or more. It has a beautiful conical shape, a deep orange-red color, and a glossy skin. The pericarp is slightly hard and has a long shelf life, and has a good balance of sugar content and acidity, and is rich in juice.
