Pinkglow™, by Fresh Del Monte, is one of the latest trend of uniquely-grown fruits all over the world. It has been researched for over 16 years to ensure the perfect taste and aromas. They’re hand-harvested and sustainably farmed, with each crown removed and replanted to generate new crops. Each pineapple takes as long as 24 months to produce.
It contains higher levels of Lycopene (found mostly in tomato and watermelon) which gives the pineapple it’s pinkish tone. It also brings out a candy-pineapple flavour and has a higher sweetness and less sour than normal types of pineapple.
